Denver’s Hottest Bar Crawlers ‘Bad Prom’ Bar Crawl Hitting up Pat’s Downtown 5/19

Bad hair, bad dresses, bad tuxedos…OH MY!

The DHBC crew invites you to their Bad Prom this Saturday 5/19. Starting at 9M the crew will be hitting up the following drinking establishments with your’s truly spinning and hosting the costume contest at Pat’s Downtown around 12:30:

11:30 Croc’s

12:30 Pat’s w/ DJ Stylee

100th Post!

For my 100th post I’ll be all vain about it and post an action shot of myself (without my Tech 1200’s mind you) for your viewing pleasure. Ok, maybe not model material but I’m going to try to post more mixes and news/musings/photos about my events in 2012 and for my next 100 posts. This is ‘DJStylee.com’ after all. Don’t worry, I’ll still have my random postings and images that I’ll post. They seem to be working as well.

If you don’t want to worry  about spending half-month’s rent to get in and want some good old-fashioned non-robot party music, then the NYE bash at Pat’s Downtown is your spot New Year’s Eve.

The cover is minimal ($10) and not even close to what most clubs/bar charge that night. We’ll comp you a free drink upon entry and they’ll be a champagne toast led by yours truly at Midnight.  If you call ahead bottle service and table reservations are available.

NYE Bash @ Pat’s Downtown 12/31 – Champagne Toast, Bottle Service, Free Drinks & More! (16th/Market)

BOOM. For yet another year I have the pleasure of spinning on New Year’s and this year I’ll be at Pat’s Downtown (16th/Market) for their annual bash. The cover is minimal ($10) and not even close to what most clubs/bar charge that night.

You’ll receive a free drink upon entry and a complimentary bottle of champagne if you call ahead.  Bottle service will be available and there will be a champagne toast at midnight.

Last but not least you’ll have me bumping the party tunes for you all night long and making sure the new year starts off right!

DJStylee.com Post: If I could only play some of this in the clubs…

 

Even when I'm off-duty I'm on duty 🙂

While activating some of my playlists on Spotify I noticed my Top Artists and Tracks lists look pretty dope. Now if I could only play some of this in the clubs without most of the club dying down or demanding I go back to mainstream music or having to hear the dreaded ‘music I can dance to’ line. I’m not going to lie though, I do sneak some of this in at the beginning and end of the night when I DJ. I even rock t-shirts of some of these artists when I spin to not only let people know I listen to good music but as ammo when overzealous club peeps come up to the booth asking for ‘real music’.

Anyways if you’re on Spotify and I’m friends with you check out some of my playlists, especially the ones I listen to while at the office for my day job. If you’re not Facebook friends with me go ahead and check out my Fan Page and I’ll shoot over some tracks.

It’s pretty hilarious that I’ve haven’t spun at Blake Street Tavern since July but I’m still front and center on their homepage and even have a dedicated section on the site still (see image below).  Any club pub is good club pub, especially in competitive Denver.
