Dropping 2.12.12
Wrapped up the cover art for my mixtape dropping this Sunday 2.12.12. Simple, but I think it get’s the job done.
Mix:30 – About That Time or as I’m lazily calling it ‘ATT’ is half way home. 3 mixes or about a half hour’s worth of tunage is ready to go. Don’t want to jinx myself but since I’m ahead of schedule I’ll have some more time to design the cover art. However, if you’re an inspiring designer [or even a good one 😉 ] I’ll gladly accept your assistance.
So far on the last 2 mixes I finalized I’ve got a little Dev, LMFAO, YC, Ludacris, Kat Deluna, Kanye, Twista, Rick Ross, and more. So far it’s looking like a fun one.

The intro/1st mix of the Mix:30 – ATT mixtape is complete. Has a little bit of everything. A little kid talking smack, Dorrough, Jay-Z, DMX, Minaj, MIA, Mos Def and more. Don’t worry, they’ll be some randomness sprinkled in.

For my 100th post I’ll be all vain about it and post an action shot of myself (without my Tech 1200’s mind you) for your viewing pleasure. Ok, maybe not model material but I’m going to try to post more mixes and news/musings/photos about my events in 2012 and for my next 100 posts. This is ‘DJStylee.com’ after all. Don’t worry, I’ll still have my random postings and images that I’ll post. They seem to be working as well.

Getting my ‘controller’ on at Pat’s NYE 2012 Bash
If you don’t want to worry about spending half-month’s rent to get in and want some good old-fashioned non-robot party music, then the NYE bash at Pat’s Downtown is your spot New Year’s Eve.
The cover is minimal ($10) and not even close to what most clubs/bar charge that night. We’ll comp you a free drink upon entry and they’ll be a champagne toast led by yours truly at Midnight. If you call ahead bottle service and table reservations are available.

It’s pretty hilarious that I’ve haven’t spun at Blake Street Tavern since July but I’m still front and center on their homepage and even have a dedicated section on the site still (see image below). Any club pub is good club pub, especially in competitive Denver.
